Homeopathy can be a powerful treatment and I am delighted to answer your questions. I aim to get back to you the same working day or the next working day following your phone call or email message.
Q: What can homeopathy help with?
A: Most complaints including physical conditions, stress, and emotional difficulties can benefit from homeopathy. Please get in touch if you are unsure. Information leaflets are available.
Q: How does homeopathy work?
A: Homeopathy is a system of medicine which involves treating the patient with highly diluted substances, given mainly in tablet form, with the aim of triggering the body’s natural system of healing. Based on their specific symptoms, a homeopath will match the most appropriate medicine to each patient.
Q: How does a consultation work?
A:Please expect to spend around 1.5 hours at your first appointment. The consultation process involves an in depth discussion about your symptoms, your lifestyle and often your family history. In order to make a good remedy choice the more information the homeopath has the better. Consultations are confidential and thorough. Remedies are selected holistically and not based on a few symptoms. It is important to note that remedies can be used alongside conventional medicine and they will not affect any beneficial effects.
Q: How much will it cost?
A: Appointment costs vary depending on the type of treatment protocol used and the number of different remedies supplied.
General constitutional appointments are £60 for the first appointment (up to 1.5 hours)
Follow up appointments are £40 depending on duration (up to 1hour)
Additional remedies are added at cost.
Children’s CEASE appointments are charged at the adult rate due to the additional remedies/postage required. Special orders and supplements are added at pharmacy cost only.
All remedies are included as required and telephone support in the month following your appointment is included if necessary.
Acute appointments are £10 for 10 minutes and include the remedy
Q: How often will I need to come back?
A: Often just one appointment is required, however if your condition is long term or chronic several follow up appointments may be required. It is likely you will be aware of changes in the body and homeopathy will support your recovery at your pace. Appointments are made on a monthly basis to suit the patient. Parents of children with ADHD and ASD should call to discuss my suggested homeopathic protocol.
Q: What happens if I need an appointment when you are on holiday?
A: Long term patients will always be supported over a holiday period however any problems or acute conditions can access the Homeopathic Helpline which is staffed until midnight 365 days a year: 09065343404.
Q: Are homeopathic remedies tested on animals?
A: There is no animal testing in homeopathy. Remedies are tested on healthy human subjects.
